Palio’s Gives Back: Successful Fundraisers!

A big part of what has made Palio’s a success is our involvement in the communities around our locations. We love getting to know the loyal customers that visit our restaurant and being able to help give back when they ask.

Recently, we have held successful fundraisers for local high schools at multiple of our Palio’s locations, helping to raise money for band programs, football teams, cheerleader organizations, and other school-sponsored groups. We have also had stores help to raise money for local families in need who live in their communities, as well as countless other organizations. The amounts we have helped to raise for these causes and organizations have helped them achieve their fundraising goals and we could not be happier. With individual owners who are local to most locations, it is only natural that our stores take an interest in the livelihood of the local organizations.

Is your organization looking to host a fundraiser?

Tackle Black Friday Shopping Like a Pro!

Thanksgiving means spending time with family and friends, reflecting on all the blessings in your life, and getting ready for BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING! At Palio’s, we care about our customers, so we have taken the time to come up with a list of a few tips and tricks to help you make the most out of your Black Friday experience!

Make a Plan of Attack

The first thing you need to do is check the ads and figure out what stores are your priority. Depending on what you are shopping for will determine how early you need to be there and the type of crowd to expect. Check circulars, websites, social media pages, and pay attention to the commercials to see what types of deals are out there!

Once you know what stores you want to hit up, route your day out. Determine what the best order is to visit the locations and save yourself from driving all over the place. Some stores will open early or stay open late to accommodate the crowds. If you are concerned with the items you want selling out, it is best to hit the stores that carry those particular items first.

Stay Organized

Staying organized is key when it comes to Black Friday shopping. On a day where chaos overtakes most department stores, it is important that you keep on top of everything you have and want. It is best to make a list of items and where to find them before you begin. It is very easy to check things off as you purchase them. This will help you make sure you do not forget anything.

Carry Snacks

On a day where you will be pushing through crowds and standing in long lines, it is smart to have a snack on hand. To help you keep your energy up and from fatigue getting the best of you, a snack will come in handy.

Be Kind

As annoying as dealing with crowds may be, we all benefit from being kind to one another. Try not to let frustration get the best of you and cause you to take your anger out on those around you. While getting the best deal on a product is nice, it is not worth losing your self-respect over.

Fuel Up at Palio’s

Black Friday shopping is a big undertaking, make sure you stay fueled up! We are talking about both your vehicle and your body on this one. Make sure you get gas for your car before you begin driving around to the different sales. Also, stop by Palio’s for lunch to make sure you have plenty of energy to handle even the biggest of crowds. One of our pizzas will be sure to hit the spot!
